COMPANY HISTORY
JANKOVA Consulting was founded with the intention of raising awareness of sustainability and its professional application in the corporate environment. Since 2017, he has been providing professional advice as a certified expert in the field of the international standards WELL and LEED for healthy and sustainable buildings and real estate with a focus on healthy interiors.
The company’s expertise extended to supporting hotels, destinations and other entrepreneurs in the tourism industry who want to minimize their ecological footprints while creating a healthy and sustainable environment for their guests.
Through tailor-made solutions and innovative approaches, JANKOVA Consulting helps its clients achieve their sustainability goals and position themselves as responsible players in the industry.
FOUNDER
The founder, expert and guarantor of the company’s values is a native Slovakian, DI Katarina Jankova, who currently lives with her family in the beautiful Pinzgau region of Austria.
The innate love of nature and the connection to a sustainable way of life, which became a natural part of her personality at a young age thanks to her parents, accompanies not only her personal but also her professional life. The combination of inner motivation with specialist knowledge and practical experience, be it in an international corporation, in the non-profit sector or in her own company, creates the conditions for a holistic approach to every project.
Under her leadership, the company has successfully implemented a large number of sustainability projects that promote both ecological and social sustainability. We place great importance on ensuring that businesses are in harmony with nature and make a positive contribution to the community.
The philosophy is reflected in the corporate culture, which is characterized by respect, transparency and ethical action.

2006 – Dipl. Ing. at the Bratislava University of Economics, field: tourism
2006 – 2016 – IKEA Components – Continuous Improvement Project Manager – Responsibility for projects mainly in the areas of environmental management (EMS), improvement of work processes (QMS), including the creation of boars according to the Activity Based Workplace (ABW) approach.
2013 – Permaculture Design – Certificate of completion
2013 – 2023 – TRVALKA – Founder & CEO – non-profit organization dealing with the development of a sustainable lifestyle. Projects: Forest kindergarten for children aged 1-6, unpackaged store, permaculture courses, healthy and vegan cooking, DIY from recycled materials
